Connections for Development (CfD) is a membership network of UK Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) organisations and individuals to provide a forum, network and platform to facilitate engagement in international development issues.
As a member of CfD you will benefit from:
- Networking and partnership opportunities amongst our membership country-wide;
- An online Forum, enabling members to post their views on issues, share experiences, request for information or just keep in touch.
- Support to actively participate in workshops, seminars and consultations that have the potential to impact on policy affecting BME communities here and overseas;
- Training opportunities to build your own and your organisation’s capacity to maximise engagement here and overseas;
- Pertinent reports and other publications on issues around migration, remittances and international development, available as downloads from the CfD website;
- A quarterly newsletter keeping you informed on issues of interest to BME communities here and international development issues;
- On-line information on funding opportunities and their deadline dates, with links to application form downloads;
- Online information on employment opportunities in the charity and development sectors.
